Washington: Presidential elections in the United States of America are to be held in November this year. After the current President Joe Biden dropped out of the presidential race, Kamala Harris and Donald Trump are now face to face. There is a tough competition between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump.
Kamala Harris, who joined the presidential election race, is seen getting a lot of support from the people on a large scale. Meanwhile, Donald Trump recently proposed a debate against Kamala Harris on September 3.
Interestingly Harris has ignited the Democratic ticket in the last 18 days, raising record funds and eliminating the polling lead of the Republican former president, opening a wide path to victory, which his party did not expect till a month ago.
Trump proposes TV debate to Harris
Meanwhile, Trump addressed reporters at his seaside home in Florida. Trump told reporters, I hope she agrees.
He then said he had made a proposal to debate television networks on September 4, 10 and 25.
Trump again attacked his opponent and repeatedly questioned the intelligence of the former state attorney general and US senator.
There will be a peaceful transfer of power after the vote – Trump
Trump made false claims on all sorts of topics related to the election and his record in office, including the price of gasoline to the size of his crowd, the deaths of US troops in Afghanistan and the 2021 rebellion at the US Capitol by his supporters.
He assured reporters that there would be a peaceful transfer of power after the November 5 vote, but he questioned whether the presidential election would be honest? During this, he claimed that the previous transfer was peaceful despite the deadly riot at the Capitol.
Trump also rejected the suggestion that he would need to reorganize his campaign with his new opponent in mind after Harris replaces President Joe Biden on July 21.
He further said, these are the same policies, open borders, that are weak on crime. I think he is worse than Biden.
The rival campaigns clashed after Trump withdrew from a previously scheduled ABC presidential debate on September 10. The network said that the two candidates have now agreed to face off.
Trump-friendly Fox News will host the first of three debates while NBC will take the final slot. There was no immediate word from Kamala Harris about those dates.
